I am an aspiring developer of high technology products to meet essential needs of society, including disaster relief. I plan to lead the effort to develop drones that will operate effectively in response to the most catastrophic disasters. Robotic systems have the potential to revolutionize disaster relief by greatly enhancing observation and assessment capabilities for saving lives and alleviating suffering, while dramatically reducing risks to rescuers. With the advice of experts and with the benefit of my own independent research, I will design systems that will be robust, affordable, and capable of performing complex missions in support of rescue operations in extremely difficult conditions.
